Get Organized so You Can Do What You’re Here to Do

Catherine was an artist who had lost sight of her essence. She realized she was at a crossroads. Either continue to put everyone else’s needs before her own or reclaim her identity as an artist. Our work together was about setting up her art studio so it supported that but it was also about so much more. It was about choosing to reclaim the essence of who she was.

I know that story very well. A music major in college, I moved 3,000 miles after I graduated and was soon deep in the middle of a totally different life as my kids arrived. It took me over 20 years to remember that music was central to my identity and to begin to reclaim that part of who I am. I sing in choirs now and I always will.

  1. I’m currently reading Julie Morgenstern’s SHED book and it’s all about this! I love the examples you’ve shared from your own life and your client’s.

      1. Yes, the more I do this, the more I know it’s never just about the stuff…
