My son used to come home from Kindergarten, round up his supplies and remake whatever it was they’d made that day. Our house was overflowing with double sets of rabbit ears and cut out letters. I found it enchanting if a little overwhelming on the clutter front.
Fast forward a decade or so and it’s been a long time since he did that. But one day he picked up some of this craft clay and made this:
Yes, that’s an actual snake skeleton, found in the Open Space and artfully preserved for posterity. I’ll definitely be giving this to him to take with him when he sets up home, but I don’t think he needs the unused clay anymore.
Which as you can see, lives up to its billing: dries hard. Totally unusable, why are we keeping it? Send it away Saturday!
