This week’s challenge: can you let go of something that’s been in “to fix” pile for longer than a year? You’ve done without it for a year (at least). Maybe you’ve even replaced it. Either way, it’s been out of commission for a serious length of time.
If you can’t bear to send it on its way, now’s the time to pull out your planner and schedule a time to either fix it or take it to get fixed.
If it needs to leave the house, put it in your passenger seat right now. Yes, it’s annoying. That’s the point.
If you break your fix-it appointment with yourself, or find yourself driving it around town for weeks, that’s a signal that it’s not going to get fixed this year either. Can you let it go?
