It could be a table with wobbly legs, a pile of 2x4s heaped on the driveway you’re sick of looking at, an empty spool or an old-fashioned clothes pin. This week’s decluttering challenge is to let go of something made of wood.
I chose this thingamajig which is polished wood and fits perfectly into the palm of my hand. It initially struck me as beautiful and the sort of thing that would be comforting to hold but do you think I ever do? It’s long since faded into the (ahem) woodwork. Send it away Saturday!
