If you grew up in a messy home, you know how awkward things could get. Maybe you were even uncomfortable bringing friends home from school. Our parents did the best they could, but they couldn’t teach us what they didn’t know. I’m writing a book about growing up in a messy house and I’d love to hear your clutter story.
You don’t have to have lived in a hoarded house to have lived somewhere quite cluttery. Growing up, it felt normal, but how has it affected you now? Are you compulsively neat in reaction or did you flounder without the lived experience of an organized home?
If you’d be willing to chat with me in an individual (just you and me) Zoom session, I would be beyond grateful. I promise complete anonymity and confidentiality. Please reply to me directly: email@example.com or (720) 526-2114 (text/call) if you’d be willing to talk with me about what it was like to grow up in a messy house or to have grandparents whose homes were full.
Thank you so much!
